1. Registered Office Address
You must provide a registered office address to set up a limited company or LLP with Companies House. It must be a physical postal address – you cannot use a PO Box number. The registered office address will be placed on public record and it must be displayed on all company stationery and websites.
2. Business Activity
You must provide Companies House with your new company’s business activity. This is done by choosing a SIC code (Standard Industrial Classification code) which describes and classifies business activities.
Our online company formation process includes a SIC code search facility; however, you may wish to find your company’s SIC code prior to starting your order, by having a look at the SIC code list.
3. Director Details
• Full Name
• Date of Birth (must be at least 16 years old)
• Occupation
• Nationality
• Residential Address (not on the public register)
• Service Address (residential or other address.
4. Shareholder Details Where the shareholder is a Person with Significant Control (PSC)
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Residential Address (not on the public register)
• Service Address (residential or other address)
• Nationality
• Nature of Control (eg. The person holds more than 50% to 75% of shares)
• Three Security Details (these act as an online signature)
o First three letters of mother’s maiden name
o First three letters of father’s forename
o First three letters of town of birth
5. Shareholder Details Where the shareholder is NOT a Person with Significant Control (PSC)
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• Residential Address (not on the public register)
• Service Address (residential or other address)
